World's first flying car that can turn into a plane in less than a minute and soar along at 100mph is going on sale in the us next month. However, they cost as much as a small house so they are not readily available, plus they are not yet mass manufactured so you won't have seen a commercial for the new flying dodge. Currently flying cars are in research and development (r&d) phase and a lot of companies are working on it.

A flying car was actually made, back in the 1950s or so, and it was not a feasible idea for mass production there is about 6 different ones, and they all have different altitudes at which they start.i doubt we are very close to flying cars as of yet.

And there are questions for society too. Inside the head of hyundai. One of the biggest is what to do when things go badly wrong. Maybe flying cars will never reach the common commuter, but there's no harm in exploring the technologies.
